2016 UPN/NISE Poster Symposium

Undergraduate students from across New Mexico presented their summer research at a joint poster symposium hosted by the Undergraduate Pipeline Network (UPN) at the University of New Mexico on August 5, 2016. Fifteen students from the NM-INBRE NISE and ten from the Bridges* Programs presented posters highlighting the results from their mentored summer projects. Participating students worked on a wide range of projects that addressed aspects of biomedical or community-based, participatory health research. This was a successful and educating summer experience for the students. Their research posters and presentations were spectacular! Congratulations especially to the NISE winners for their exceptional posters: Sabino Maldonado-Torres and Benjamin Lantz.
