We are thrilled to announce that Hannah Aranda from New Mexico Tech, also a participant in the NISE internship program at the University of New Mexico (UNM), has been recognized for her outstanding work at the 2024 SACNAS National Diversity in STEM (NDiSTEM) Conference!
Hannah earned an award in the Psychology – Cognitive Neuroscience category for her exceptional poster presentation, which showcased the results of her summer research conducted under the mentorship of Dr. David Linsenbardt in the Department of Neurosciences at UNM.
The SACNAS NDiSTEM Conference is the largest multidisciplinary and multicultural STEM diversity conference in the country, with over 6,000 attendees, including more than 3,000 students presenting cutting-edge research. This premier event fosters an inclusive community where participants are equipped, empowered, and inspired to thrive in their academic and professional STEM journeys.
