NM-INBRE Student Scholars
As undergraduate students advance their participation in NM-INBRE research activities, they can earn NM-INBRE scholar status.
To be recognized as an NM-INBRE scholar, all three of the following criteria must be met:
- Students must participate in research supported by NM-INBRE (e.g. through NISE or a DRPP-funded mentor)
- Students must participate in NISE professional development activities
- Students must present their work at the annual NM-INBRE Symposium
Students can advance their scholar status with increased participation in NM-INBRE research and professional development opportunities. NM-INBRE scholars will be recognized at the annual summer symposium.
