Join us for frank discussions about creating space to have the time you need to accomplish your goals by first identifying the barriers to your success. We will also discuss strategies for managing the academic administrators that can represent a barrier or a solution. This professional development workshop is open to any faculty at any NM-INBRE institution. Registration is required.

Hybrid workshop held on FDA campus 9/19-9/20; webcast available The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and National Institutes of Health (NIH) are announcing a public workshop to engage with stakeholders in the implanted brain-computer interface device ecosystem. The purpose of this public workshop is to discuss implanted brain-computer interface devices and to hear from stakeholders about the development of clinical outcome assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of implanted brain-computer interfaces. Building Bridges Across NIH and the Broader Engineering Community

This October, an exciting event will take place on the NIH campus, which aims to introduce extramural investigators to intramural researchers and showcase NIH resources. The event, Building Bridges Across NIH and the Broader Engineering Community, will take place on Tuesday, October 22, the day before the Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES) annual meeting begins, held this year in Baltimore, Maryland. This event will feature invited and abstract-driven talks, poster sessions, lab tours, panel discussions, a chance to meet program directors, and networking opportunities. More information will be provided in the coming weeks. Registration and abstract submission for this event are now open. Professors, postdocs, and graduate and undergraduate students are all encouraged to join us. We look forward to seeing you on October 22 in Bethesda!
